Jetty Park is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily
- Parking is available at Jetty Park with a pre-purchased pass or annual pass. No credit card or cash transactions can take place at the entrance gate.
- If Parking capacity at Jetty Park is at 100% and you have already purchased a day pass for a specific date you will be guaranteed entry into the park. It does not guarantee re-entry if the park is at capacity. If you are an annual pass holder, your entry is not guaranteed if park is at capacity. Staff monitors the number of cars in the park and will re-open when the park drops below capacity.

- Complete the transaction. Once your order is complete, your passes will be emailed to you. Please print out or download your passes to a mobile device to be scanned at the booth.
- Only Florida Disabled Veterans with a state-issued Disabled Veteran vehicle license plate will receive complementary entry into the park on a space available basis. Disabled Veteran vehicle entry not guaranteed if Jetty Park is at capacity.

Where am I allowed to fish in and around the Port?

Where can I go to try and see a manatee, sea turtle or dolphin?
The Port’s Rodney S. Ketcham Park, Freddie Patrick Park, and Jetty Park all offer a variety of safe and easy-to-access locations to hopefully spot native wildlife. Please remember not to harass or disturb wildlife. Additionally, local tourism companies may offer guided boat tours of the Indian River Lagoon area in addition to Port Canaveral’s harbor.
Are pets allowed in the day park and beach?
No, pets must remain in the campground area.
Can I bring my pet to the park and beach?
Pets are prohibited in the day park area and on the beach, with the exception of trained service animals (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and under §413.08(1)(d), Florida Statutes). Please note that therapy, comfort, or emotional support dogs are not permitted.
What time does the beach, park, and pier close?
The beach, park and pier close at 9:00 PM daily.
Are there lifeguards on duty?
Yes, Jetty Park beach has lifeguards on duty from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily.
How long is the walk to the beach from the entry booth?
The walk from the entry booth is about a 10-minute walk, depending on your speed.
Do you offer beach wheelchairs?
Yes we do! Beach concessionaire, A1A Beach Rentals, has beach wheelchairs available at no charge to assist persons needing a wheelchair to visit Jetty Park Beach. As you enter Jetty Park, call A1A Beach Rentals at 321-505-7455 to request the use of a beach wheelchair. Once you arrive at the park entrance, inform the booth attendant you are picking up a wheelchair. You will need to fill out an authorization form and return it to the booth attendant. Once inside the park, proceed to a parking location close to the beach. Someone representing you will need to get the beach wheelchair from the A1A Beach Rentals concession stand located on the beach. A valid driver’s license must be presented to the A1A Beach Rentals attendant. No purchase necessary. Beach wheelchairs have a 350 lb. weight limit.
Does Jetty Park beach offer chair and umbrella rentals?
Yes, our Beach concessionaire, A1A Beach Rentals, has chairs, umbrellas, and more available for rent by beach entrance 3. Credit cards accepted. Cash is not accepted.
Can I bring my own grill in the park?
Yes, however grilling is not allowed on the beach.
