How does the Port modernize its fleet and equipment?
The Port continually evaluates its fleet and equipment for efficiency. We maintain and promote a Vehicle and Equipment Replacement Plan which standardizes the replacement process. This process replaces vehicles and equipment with newer, and ultimately, more fuel efficient/lower emission vehicles and equipment. Where suitable, electric cars and carts are used by Cruise Operations and Recreation staff.
